"Patriot Games" winners announced!

Comments by Dr. Mark Obrenovich PhD:  The selections were interesting in their own right, however, most participants failed to make a connection with the audience based on the criterion of "Patriot Games".  While a few entries had the component of a game and some the components of patriotism, the best in relation to skill, style, composition and theme goes to the following and the decision is final:

Winner:  "Love War" by Lisa Stegeman
1st Runner up: "Cope" by Manny Ortega
2nd Runner up: "New American F(L)AG" by Kimberley Leutwyler
Honorable Mentions: "The Patriot" by Jose Cabral  and A Simple Dream by Powell Duenas

"Why Buy Direct From the Artist?"

Recently I read an article by Non-Objective painter Brad Bannister.  He discusses the benefits of buying direct from the artist and why it makes sense for your wallet as well as the sophistication of your collection.
"If an individual who is purchasing the art doesn’t want to see another footbridge, rowboat or bowl of apples then that buyer can select a new design that actually has more sophisticated impact of feeling..."
"When you purchase direct from the painter you have a unique object with all its presence and power."  - Brad Bannister
